Overall it was well furnished and brand-new with a good bed.

The room was brand-new and large, included with a nice terrace, balconies and nice bathroom. The location was great and fantastic because it was really close to beach and shops, Unawatuna and sri lanka to date.

The property's location was marvellous, on take to yala national park. The staff helped us with luggage. Got the same budget double room with a comfortable bed booked online, appreciated that.

I always return to this wonderful place. They welcomed me and helped with my bags on my first stay. It has everything I need and more, with great amenities like free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and spa. Can't wait to come back for Easter!

Off the main road, great position. Positioned in the nice quiet area.

Great hotel located just off both main and jungle beach, the hill and all restaurants and the city beach. The breakfast with delicious Ceylon tea. Pleasant experience there.

all in all - we greatly enjoyed this place & would book here again. that was beautiful hotel set in quiet area. the location was marvellous and gorgeous for walking around porta santa maria. visited few places in the centre, just a short walk away from the property. the rooms were perfect, budget, and had a refrigerator, a work desk, and a dining area.

Location: the hotel was just next door to the beach and the centre of Unawatuna, bars and Unawatuna's. I truly enjoyed local food. The staff was amicable and excellent when needed...

My stay at this place was absolutely incredible! The owner was so friendly and nice, and even gave me guidance on how to get to Yala National Park. They went above and beyond by holding onto my 25 kg luggage for free, which was a lifesaver. The location is conveniently close to the city center and the beach, making it a perfect spot. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was great too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing stay!

I had a fantastic time at Hiru Resort Inn. The location was amazing, immersed in lush greenery and just a short walk to the sea. I loved being able to feed the monkeys that would come by. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed waking up to a delicious breakfast with different fruits every day. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly, always there to assist and make sure I had a great stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and memorable experience.

hiru resort inn was a pleasant surprise! after staying in unawatuna before, this quick stop exceeded my expectations. the clean, modern room and spacious bathroom with hot shower were impressive. the lovely hosts and delicious breakfast made our stay memorable. highly recommend this tucked away gem near the beach.

Bathroom had a slight odor.

I recently had an amazing stay at a fantastic resort in Sri Lanka. the location was perfect, right beside a beautiful Buddhist temple and just a short walk to the main beach. the room was spacious and clean, with a lovely bathroom and a comfortable bed. the service provided by the staff and family was exceptional, always friendly and helpful. the breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of facilities for preparing food. the view from the balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the lush jungle. it was a memorable experience and great value for money.

The lack of a closet in the room.

The rooms at Hiru Resort Inn Unawatuna are so cozy and comfortable. I instantly felt like I was at home with the nice seating area and tile/marble floor. My double room had a private entrance, which made me feel like I had my own little escape. It was such a nice touch. I loved that some of the selected rooms came with a balcony. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. The air conditioning in my double room was a lifesaver! It kept the room cool and refreshing during the hot weather.

Personally, I could have done without the private bathroom having only a shower. But hey, that's just my preference.

Perfect location near jungle, quiet & close to beach. Spacious rooms with nice bathroom, fridge & food prep area. Friendly staff. Excellent price/quality. Recommended spot in Unawatuna.
